Don’t just sell software.
Build your territory.

Sales & Account Manager — Canada

Contrax is building the operating system for small renovation and trades businesses across Canada. We’re looking for ambitious Sales & Account Managers to help us take it across the country.

You won’t just be handed a list of leads. You’ll own a territory. You’ll build relationships. You’ll run demos. You’ll close customers. You’ll grow your accounts.

And as your territory grows, your income grows with it.

Your territory. Your customers. Your upside.

Every Sales & Account Manager is assigned a territory within Canada.

Your job is to make Contrax the software contractors in your territory know about — and eventually, the software they run their businesses on.

Build your territory. Build your income.

Sales at Contrax isn’t a traditional sales job. You’ll have a base, but your real earning potential comes from the customers you bring into your territory and keep active.

No commission cap. No territory ceiling. No fixed quota.
The more contractors you help succeed with Contrax, the more you earn.

To be clear about the basis: the $50 is per company, not per person. Contrax is one flat price for a contractor’s whole business with unlimited users, so a four-person crew and a fifteen-person crew are both one customer — and both pay you $50 a month for as long as they stay.

Commission tracks the price. New customers start on a launch offer of $49.99/month for their first three months, and your commission on them is $15/month for that period. When they move to the full $150, you move to $50. You earn roughly a third of what the customer pays, always — which is why the plan works and won’t get rewritten later.

Build the book. Keep the book. Grow the income.

You own the growth

01Find contractors

Reach renovation companies and trades businesses across your territory. Cold outreach, networking, referrals, local relationships, inbound and digital leads. You own the pipeline.

02Run the demos

Show contractors what Contrax actually does for their business — estimating, AI, CRM, projects, crew, invoicing, and everything we’re building next. You don’t need to be an engineer. You need to understand the customer.

03Close the business

Turn conversations into customers. Help them understand the value, get them started, make sure they actually use it. Your goal isn’t another signup — it’s another successful customer.

04Own the relationship

You stay involved after the sale. Check in, build trust, understand their business, help them get more from it. The better your customers do, the better you do.

Inbound leads count.

Found you through Google, clicked an ad, filled out a form, downloaded the app or just reached out — if they’re inside your territory, they’re part of your book. You run the demo, you manage the relationship, you earn the commission.

We’re not just paying you for who you cold-call. We’re giving you a territory to build.

You don’t do tech support.

Your job is sales and relationships. If a customer hits a technical problem, you bring it to the team and Contrax handles it. You don’t need to become a software engineer — you get back to selling and growing your territory.

The questions you should be asking

If you’re weighing an early-stage sales job against a big one, these are the things that actually decide it. Here they are without you having to ask.

Is the commission capped?

No. There is no commission cap and no ceiling on how large your territory can become. Build a territory with 300 active companies and you earn on all 300. Build 500? You earn on 500. Your opportunity grows with the market you build.

What’s the compensation?

Base starts at $18/hour. On top of that you earn $50 per month for every active company in your territory — one payment per business, whatever the size of their crew — and it’s recurring for as long as they stay a customer. You’re not starting from zero every month. You’re building an income stream.

Is there a sales quota?

No traditional quota. We’re not interested in giving you an arbitrary number and threatening your job if you miss it. Your territory is your opportunity — the more customers you bring in, activate and retain, the more you make.

Do I earn the same on a brand-new customer?

Not for the first three months. New customers come in on a $49.99 launch offer, and your commission during that period is $15/month. Once they move to the full $150, you move to $50 and stay there. It’s the same one-third share either way — the commission follows what the customer actually pays.

What if I leave Contrax?

The commission is tied to the job. While you’re on the team you earn on every active customer in your territory, month after month. If you move on, the commission ends with the role — you’re building a book for as long as you’re the one looking after it, not an annuity that outlives the job.

What if a customer cancels?

Your $50 continues while that company stays a customer. If they leave, it stops. That’s intentional. Sales here isn’t just getting the signature — you build the relationship, help them understand the product and make sure they keep getting value from it. Keeping a customer is just as important as winning one.

What are you selling?

Contrax is $150/month for the entire company. One simple price. No complicated per-seat pricing, no long procurement, no enterprise sales cycle. You’re talking directly to business owners about a product built specifically for their industry.

How big is the team?

Small, and honest about it. You would be early. There is no sales machine above you — that’s the risk and it’s also the whole opportunity.

Where do leads come from?

Inbound — contractors already discovering Contrax through search. Outbound — your own calls, emails, networking and local prospecting. Referrals — relationships with contractors and industry people who introduce you to others. Community — becoming the person contractors know when they need better systems.

Is it cold calling?

Sometimes, especially in the beginning. But you’re not calling businesses to sell another generic piece of software — you’re talking to contractors about a problem you understand, because Contrax was built by a contractor. You know the chaos of estimates, change orders, invoices and trying to run a business from a truck. That’s the advantage.

This isn’t for everyone.

If you’re looking for a predictable sales job with a fixed territory, a fixed quota and a fixed ceiling, there are plenty of companies offering that. If you want to build something, talk to business owners, create relationships and have your earning potential tied directly to the territory you build — that’s what we’re looking for.

Who we’re looking for

You don’t need ten years of SaaS experience. You need drive, communication skills, and the ability to earn trust.

Comfortable talking to business owners Can pick up the phone and start a conversation Competitive and motivated by results Builds genuine customer relationships Comfortable doing outreach Can run a product demo Wants income tied to performance Doesn’t need someone standing over them Wants to build something, not step into a finished sales machine

Construction experience is a major plus. But we’re especially interested in people who look at a territory and think:

“How big can I make this?”

You’ll be early

Contrax is still being built. That means there isn’t a giant sales department above you. There isn’t a 400-page playbook. There isn’t a marketing machine feeding you leads every morning.

That’s the risk. It’s also the opportunity.

You’ll have the chance to help establish how Contrax sells across Canada, build your own territory, develop relationships with contractors, and grow alongside the company. If Contrax becomes what we believe it can become, the people who built those territories from the beginning will have been there for the most important part.

Why Contrax

Because we’re not selling software designed by people who have never run a construction company. Contrax was built inside a real renovation company in Oshawa, Ontario. The problems we’re solving are problems we’ve actually lived.

The estimatesThe schedulingThe crews The paperworkThe invoicesThe late nights

We built the software we wished existed. Now we’re taking it across Canada.

Canada is the start.

There are contractors in every city, every province, every trade — and most of them are still stitching their business together with spreadsheets, paper, texts, accounting software and disconnected apps. We’re building something better, and we need people across Canada to help us take it there.
